Yoga for Everyone is a small yoga studio that would be hard to find if you are not from Anderson, IN. The instructor is a very nice woman from Russia. She is a little hard to understand through her accent. The studio was a little cold as it isn't very busy and winters in Indiana are freezing. I enjoyed the end of her class because she layered blankets on top of us and it was very calming. I enjoyed the class but it is close to a busy street which distracts from the practice. Classes cost around $10-$12 a class, and discounts are avaliable.
I would suggest Yoga for Everyone for beginning yogis, older adults, and those living in Anderson that don't want to drive 20 miles to practice.

The Yoga Center - Indianapolis, IN
Both locations are amazing. :) Bikram Yoga- classes usually only last an hour and there are multiple variations from Slow Flow, Vinyasa, TYC, Friday Night Flow. Classes are $17 each but they run specials and discount for buying multiples. Teachers are explainatory and friendly. Light music is playing and lights are minimal with closed window curtains.
Broadripple, IN - is a smaller location. limited parking & very limited space for changing. No shower facility. One medium size classroom.
Carmel, IN - a new larger location attached to the Clay Terrace shopping center. This location has 2 restrooms with showers, a large amount of storage space, and a huge classroom.

On the Search...
Practicing yoga is a blessing no matter where, when, or how. However, finding the right studio (environment) to practice and explore yoga at is very important. I have been yoga m i a for awhile finishing my last semester of my undergrad, moving across the country, and trying to get my life somewhat set up. In these transitions I have lost my balance; literally & figuratively.
In the next few months I will be exploring studios around Los Angeles. I am going to try to find the "right" fit for me and hopefully pick my balance back up. I am off to Rome, Athens, the Greek Islands, and Turkey for the next couple of weeks, but I will do a quick run down of the locations I have been to.
There are several things I look for- overall feel of the location inside & out, teaching quality, poses, classroom atmosphere, staff, amenities, price. I love the feeling of calmness and blood running through my veins when I end my practice. I am insanely biased for Bikram Yoga because that is what I have attended classes for.
